My '56 Tudor's driver side door doesn't close tight enough but the overall alignments all look good. When the door is closed I still have a little play & can "push" it in a little more plus feel the air coming through. The weatherstripping is also all compressed (which I'll try to replace in the spring). My question: What can I adjust on the door to get it to close tighter ? The door latch striker plate doesn't look like it has any type of adjustment leway but I think that's were the adjustment needs to be made.

The striker does have adjustment. The door post has slotted holes, and there is a backup plate inside the post. When you loosen the 3 screws you can move the striker in or out, up or down within the limits of the slotted holes. John

If you are going to replace the weather strips soon, I would wait until after replacing them before trying to adjust the doors. Just my two cents worth.

I'm with Glen - the new weatherstrips are not compressed like the old ones so your problem might just go away with the new stuff.
