I want to install a gauge and keep my warning light so I'm going to use a "tee". My

question is the original sensor is in front by the draft tube and not a lot of room to

get at anything. Can I plug off that port and use one the other ones towards the rear of the

engine? There looks to be 3, 1/4 inch pipe plugs along the engine and the one by the oil

filter would be the most accessible. Thanks Randy

Randy:

You can use any of those holes, they are all connected to the same oil passage.

Randy,

If you go to the trouble of pulling galley plugs, you won't have to bother with the "T" complication (I find it crowds things a bit).

I also do not trust plastic tubing (visions of hot oil spraying all over my interior), so went to the trouble of obtaining braided pressure line (6V system made mechanical gauge more practical).

I've installed the tee in the original spot, but now my warning light wire is to short and I didn't really want to cut and add on.

I'll try and remove one of the plugs and install the gauge there. Your right ,there really is hardly any room to connect anything.
