I just removed everything.... the engine itself has less than 1k miles off the rebuild...i wasnt too sure as this is how i got it... it tear everything down and wow, no sludge, everything nice and clean, double roller timing chain and new sprockets..everything looks new timing cover and all....this was really maintained.... i pulled the cam and it looks good but im not certain if its a regrind thats there...it bearly has any lobe left...compared to the regrind i will be installing... i pulled the lifters and nice and shiny....have new ones for the cam tho.....well only diference is the cam that was in the car is drilled and the rgrind is grooved... will this work or do i need to change cam bearings? here are some pics of the cams side by side...lift is a huge diference and will make my galaxie sound great thanks to Tim....

The grooved camshaft will work fine on cam bearings originally being used with a crossdrilled journal camshaft.  Just make sure the groove in the replacement camshaft is at least 0.030”-0.045” deep.
