What do you think of this?
It's about 1 hour from me. Price is out of my range.

Gordie: the e address you gave won't open. Anyway, what make is the intake? Edelbrock's of that vintage are popular, but the earlier model 553, has small intake runners. The 573 has the larger ports. Then there is Fenton & others. However, the one to avoid is the Offenhauser, unless you don't care about performance. It's internal design is poor.

Its a nice looking Edmunds with carbs and bonnets. Has Ford cast into one of the runners. No numbers visable. It's nice, but, if you want a three duece setup they are available fairly often on EBAY for a lot less money. $750 seems pretty steep to me! Chuck in NH

If it won't open, try going to Kijiji...or whatever it is spelled like and look for y-block under Toronto. By the way, thanks for the help on my steering. I am going to pull my 292 and get it rebuilt and then get the front end all fixed up and probably put the new 58 steering box in.
Cheers

Is that "Ford cast into one of the runners" or on the side of one of the Ford carbs. To me it looks like the Ford script carbs will need some work. I would pass on it.

You are correct! I didn't look at the picture close enough, that is a carb with the Ford logo. Chuck in NH
