I went to the search to find lifting plate on aluminum manifold to no avail, so is it to scary to try and lift out my 292 with the Blue Thunder intake less exhaust manifolds? I have always used a chain in the past and a engine leveler. Any pros and cons would be appreciated. Oh, this is in my T-Bird.

Ive used the corner bolts that hold the intake to the block. Just use longer bolts.

The lift plate works fine. The cast aluminum intake can support far more than the complete engine.

When I pull the engine I borrowed the lift plate from John M. Worked great also used the engine leveler. Hope this helps God Bless Eddie
