I stumbled upon this site. They look alright.

Scroll to the bottom of the page when it opens.

Any of y'all used anything from this company?

I was planning on making something similar to that.

They have a Y alt bracket on E bay now, looks pretty nice. Available in polished stainless or black powder coat. I think that their buy it now was about $120.

Made my own out of steel bar, I have less than the 120 in the bracket and the alternator. The Alternator (GM single wire was about $40, rebuilt) the paint was 6 bucks, had the straps and the welder already,

Frank, I made mine too, I just heated and reshaped the stock gen bracket for the front, bent up a rear bracket out of 3/8" X 1" flat bar, a GM 6.2 diesel starter bolt (long one) and a shot of issued black paint. Total cost $0. I used a GM 3 wire alt so that I could keep the gen dash light. Works just fine for me, but if someone wants the shiny stuff and not into recycling (or just plain cheap) like me, the piece that Charley is talking about looks pretty good.
