I have a question reguarding if ther is a high performance y-block book like they have for the small block fords and big block fords???? I thought i had heard at one time that there was one out but the info in the book was incorrect. Maybe you y-block gurus should do a new book. I sure would be buying one.

The Y-Block Book by Eickman is the only aftermarket book & was issued in 1984. It's a good book but contains a couple of errors & one or two controversial issues. However, it's not really a high performance book. The original printings are no longer available, however, there are reports of poor quality reprints having shown up in recent times... And to issue a new well thought out repair & high performance book would be a substantial undertaking.

The book by James Eickman is a great reference book, although as mentioned before it has a few mistakes/misprints it is still a good start. I think most Y-Block guys own one, I know I do!

Someday the long awaited Mummert Y-block bible will finally be finished! I can't wait to read it. Should have all the good (and some not so good) tricks for making a Y-block sing! Chuck in NH
