Fellas- I just wanted to say that as we all take a break from our Y related endeavors tomorrow to be with family & friends, we take a minute or two to quietly reflect on how truly blessed we as Americans are. Many family members & friends have made the supreme sacrifice to keep us all safe as we enjoy the many freedoms this country affords us all. God bless them, our family & friends and God Bless America, the greatest nation on Earth. Happy Thanksgiving To you & Yours, /Duck

Better late than never - I was eating too much turkey and pie and all that with family yesterday.

But yes - Happy Thanksgiving and God bless America. Thank God for the freedom we have in this great country. It was special on Wednesday at church - one of our military family's husband/father is stationed over in Bahrain for 9 months, but he got a care package from the kids at our school. The mother said that her husband passed out cookies, cards, and all kinds of things that our kids had packed out for the men and women over there and it really made a difference. Thank God for the folks that "keep" the freedom God gave to us!

And yes, we fly a huge stars and stipes at our church and Christian school, and yes, we take our students to the National Marine Corps Museum, and yes, we have a drill instructor/Vietnam Vet (Bill Behrens) visit our campus at least once every 12 months! OoohRah!
