valve cover decals... will they burn off?

finally got some fancy-pants chrome valve covers for my birthday last month and now am wondering if the fancy-pants decals I also got will just burn off after a little while... anyone have any experience with this combo??

wonder if I can coat the insides of the covers with something to keep them just a bit cooler and lessen the burn-off effect on the decals...

decals are water-slide, by the way...

any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Factory decals don't burn off, so I would think your new ones won't burn off either.

The decals I have haven't burnd off, been on for three years of hard driving. Smile

These I bought on the Bay a while back and they are fine. The decals are not coming off unless you put a torch to them
