Here is a video of my 292 running, those of you who have great running engines tell me how you think mine sounds. I drive it a few times a week and it seems to be doing fine but if you hear something I should be worried about let me know so I can look into it.
Thanks

I don't hear anything out of the ordinary and its not shaking at idle which means its hitting on all 8. Nothing that a set of nice sounding dual exhausts wouldn't fix.

Engine sounds good although it seems to hesitate off idle a bit, maybe timing or carb.

I'm assuming it was warmed up and that the choke was off, it does have a noticable off-idle stumble... If that bothers you, then you could pull the air cleaner and look for a good squirt of fuel from the accelerator pump coming off idle... if a good charge, then recheck timing perhaps.
Cheers... Brian

The stumble did bother me, it was just a timing/air fuel issue. Glad I got that fixed because my wife went into labor a week early and now I am a first time father of a healthy baby boy.
Thanks guys

Congrats and good karma... now go find a rubber wrench and replace the rattle that you no doubt got a the bady shower... it's never to soon... Cheers... Brian
