The subject of most of my queries on this board are related to the learning curve of having my '56 T-bird...I just thought it would be fun to show you guys the other Ford in the stable...not "Y" powered, actually it had a 223 in it from the factory...but it's the right era, and he got some new shoes for Christmas so I thought I'd share anyway...(please note the cleverly placed red over spray on the tire has been dealt with Tongue)

Finally ready for some detailing and some fresh matte black...BigGrin

15x10 rear with 285/70-15 Radial T/A's (found some NOS)...         15x7 front with 225/70-15 Radial T/A's

I mentioned that it wasn't "Y" powered, right? That was the disclaimer...here's my Caddy:

Not trying to alarm you but how old are your New OLD Stock (NOS) tires? Manufacturers put date codes on their tires for a reason???Unsure

That's a nice truck, they always look good in matte black. I just bought a truck like that, but a couple years younger, and with a Y, so seeing that reminds me: Your's says "Custom Cab", like mine. I have no idea what this means, is it just the name for a non-extended cab?

Custom Cab means that it came with a little nicer upholstery and some extra trim that the standard cab didn't have.Ford didn't make an extended cab until 75.
