Help -- High beams on my 59 Ford quit working -- checked fuses -- checked wiring -- replaced foot switch still no luck, any ideas?

Have you checked the sealed beams. I have no explanation for it, but I have seen many times when the high beam burns out on one side, the other one goes too. This was very common before the days of halogen lights and I have seen a lot of people go to a lot of work before checking the easiest first.

Be sure to check your junction box connections, there bad for doing the same thing, high beam, low beam, turn signals etc.

Check for power to the plug at the seal beam using a test light.Low beam has power to one of the 3 prongs.High beam on should have power to both.Power to both would be seal beam burned out I think.
