What Bill started in the ‘use of bad language’ post brings to mind the list of acronyms that was started on the old forum. I’ll start with this initialism which is one of my favorites. Can Hear Every Valve Rattle Over Large Engine Troubles

I'm new here, and dont wanna make waves, but unlike pretend vikings or criminals from prison island, some here would find offense in that "oletime humor"... u might wanna consider a workable substitute, like noob, or nimcompoop, nucklehead... or even negro (didnt work so well for Harry Ried though). I'm just sayin. Brian

Fix Or Repair Daily was not derogatory 45 years ago. If you dove them the way I did, fixing something every day was just a way of life.

I was thinking what Seppo wrote but didn't have the nads to write it, our politically correct world would have none of that, although most will use it in conversation. Especially the ones referred to.

We used to say GTO stood for "Garbage Truck Options".
Stovebolt mechanics are known as "Mr. Good Pliers"?

Especially the ones referred to. Tim, i couldnt agree more! although used in the past as not nice, i think we in the car game dont mean to be directly unkind but just use it in the context we meant. Anyone with other thoughts can feel free to stick their head back up their you know where! and i dont care! best regards to all. bill.

Hmmmm... really don't know what I did? I'm not a religious man and I dont't keep myself as a racist , just a car guy. I'm sorry if I made an offence against common decency. That PONTIAC thing was just a thing what I had red from somewhere. I didn't discover it myself. I know a lots of good people, no matter what color they represent. And only KKK that I know is a german turbocharger company .
