need to see if I can make this work... I am doing home work for my 63 f-250 2x4 to 4x4 y-block conversion. I just acquired a 77 f-250 4speed trans Says NP on it, not sure of model yet, (engine was a 400) and a divorced np 205 t-case & all shafts to go along with it. I will be fabbing up nearly all mounts for this, but am trying to not end up with a 6 inch drive-shaft, so I would like to do the t-5 with this set up for highway purposes.

Y-Guy Red   My T-5 is from a mustang, will that measurement work for you?

Also I wouldn't mount the transfer case until You have the engine and

tranny in place because the angles are critical if you want to keep

vibration to a minimum. Also when you get this thing running, the

"phasing" of the center shaft(between the trans and t.c.) will

affect the vibration factor. You want all the joints to be "in Line".

You can change this by putting the t.c. in neutral(engine idle),

and put the trans in any gear and letting the clutch out a little

to allow it to turn "a little". Normally, this will correct itself.

I did mini-truck 4wd conversions, back in the 70's, and

we had to deal with this on a regular basis.

                                       Hope this  helps
