I have never tried to put a passenger car driver's side cast iron exhaust in a pickup.  Has anyone had any success with a particular year of pickup?

Charlie;

The passenger manifold will dump right on the steering column in a pickup.  On my truck I used a RH passenger manifold on the left side, making the outlet point down at the front.  Easy to make a pipe to go from there to the muffler.  You can also use the existing truck manifold and make a pipe to connect, but the pipe gets a pretty good arch in it.  Of course, there's always the rams horn.  In all the Y stuff Tim got, did he get any rams horns?

John,

No rams horns, but a few passenger cast iron manifolds.  I got a call asking if they would fit.  Thanks for your input.

When I got my truck it had headers made for a Galaxie. Not only did one need the space where the steering box was, they both dumped into the Xmember. I'm lengthening them to desperately try to make a system that is compatible with both a '64 F100 and a '63 Fairlane.
