Jim ,
CONGRATULATIONS. What a milestone. It sure doesn't seem like 7 years. I don't know what we would do without this site. To you Jim, and the team (Ted Eaton, John Feistritzer, Bob Martin, John Mummert, etc, etc) a very big and honest Thank You. You have brought together a bunch of people, young and old, from the 4 corners of the world who are the true believers. Surely, one day the rest of the world will see what a great motor the Y-Block is! Proud to be a member.

All of us is what makes this thing work. I've only had to ban three people in seven years, that has to be some sort of record among forums. Just check some of the other forums, they have to keep a fire department on retainer for all of the flame wars!!! The fact that we just don't have those is a testament to the class of people that love the Y. I have provided the hangout, but without our sages (ones mentioned in previous posts and more), this would be nothing. I have been truly blessed over this last seven years to have added many names to those people that I can truly call my friends. A special thanks to Ted (Doc) Eaton for putting up with me coming down and asking more questions than a two year old every time! I am SO lucky to only live a bit over an hour from Ted.
Got an e-mail this morning that Australia is to be represented at the shootout this year, and I will bring the 56 if we get aluminum heads in time to get the motor together. After missing last year, I am REALLY looking forward to seeing many of you again!

Jim,
Thanks very much for getting this site up and going. It is an amazing treasure of Yblock racers/builders/learners, information and conversation. I was at the old site for years before it languished and became vulnerable to the flames. Very grateful and glad to find my way here recently.

It isn't the "little" Aussie that has me concerned! It that guy with the Y-Blocksforever Tat on his arm! He is one to watch.

Excellent 7 years Jim, along with the moderators who help! Like Tim mentioned, it is one of the only reasons I go to my computer, years ago it was fun to be on the computer, after having to do 1000's of reports for my jobs, it is not fun anymore unless I come here. Now when I am at the computer, I feel like I am wasting my time and would rather be out wrenching. I don't know how Ted gets so much work done and answers so many questions on the forum, I need what he's taking.
