Is there a Mechanical advanced distributor for my 239 yblock instead of the vacuum advanced distributor?

I assume you mean 239 Y block.  The answer is a qualified yes.  Your distributor has 13 teeth and a flat tang drive.  You can convert to a '57 or later distributor, which has both mechanical and vacuum advance.  But to use it you will need to swap your 13 tooth gear onto the later distributor.  You will also have to use a '55 and later oil pump and pump drive rod.  The later distributor also has a different cap and rotor than your original.  There may be some old Mallory or such distributors around with the proper gear and pump drive, but they would be very rare.  Good luck.

Thank you for the advice I am not sure if I am going to change it or not.   Sounds like alot of trouble.  I am glad I have a place to go and ask questions like this.  Again Thank you

It's not that hard to do. The hardest part is getting the gears off the shafts. I had to do it with multiple carbs because you lose your vacuum advance and timing when the outer carbs open up. It ran terrible before the distributor change.

okay well you talked me into it.  I am going to change the distributor.  Do I just get one from a 57 or later Yblock.  Like a 272 or 292?  Same with the oil pump and pump drive rod?   I can get the distributor from NAPA and also the oil pump but he could not find the drive rod any ideas where to get one of those?

It shouldn't be any problem getting a stock drive shaft but if you want a HD one Mummert sells them.  There has been some talk in the past about the hole in the drive gear on the aftermarket oilpump being deeper than the factory unit and the drive shaft going in too far and not contacting the dizzy.  Make sure this is not the case in your application.

I got mine from auto zone. Asked for one for a '62 292. The oil pump and drive I got from Shulman's [spelling is probably not right]. I don't know if it is a 239 thing or not, but I had to shorten the drive rod by about 1/4" to 5/16" so the distributor would sit flush.
