Guys, question was asked today if there were frame identification numbers on 55 56 fairlane and customline models in us. I thought no but wanted to be correct with my answer to inquirey, thanks, regards bill.

yes bill. there are chassis numbers on both aussie & usa cars. they are on the right hand side just under the battery box tray on the chassis.

And the top of the last crossover rail at the rear of the chassis.

You’ll also find the 1955 & 1956 VIN numbers on the top of the frame at the right rear.
