I'm finding 94's tough to come by. Is it safe to say, any 3 bolt ford or merc. carb will work on a 3 deuce intake, just going for the looks. Thanx, Gary

All the three bolt ford carbs from about 42 on (till 56) are 94's. Just different versions over the years. Shouldn't have any problem finding them, they are all over the place. Certain models may be harder to find than others.

If doing a progressive linkage where you are running off of the center carb, then using a different center carb than those on the ends would work out fine.  There are at least three basic Holley three bolt carbs (ECG, 94, 2100) so you’d like to have a matched pair on the ends at the very least.

I am looking at carbs for the set-up on my 57 Tbird 312. So far I have two ECG-6's for the end carbs and a 2110 (version of the 2100) with an automatic choke, that I want to convert to electric, and a dash pot, for the primary. All of these are 1 1/16 venturis and need complete rebuilds. I intend on modifying the primary for ported vacuum using Ted's instructions for the vacuum advance on my 57 distributor. Not sure about eliminating the idle circuits for the end carbs yet. I am hoping to go to the March Meet at Famoso Raceway near Bakersfield this weekend. The swap meet is awesome along with the racing but it looks like it might be rained out. Might give me more time to wear out my elbow polishing the Edelbrock 573 though.
