A while back I did a favor for a tourist from Canada who needed some One dollar bills.I traded him 5 ones for a Canadian $5 dollar bill.I have since found out that I can't spend it here or even take it to my bank.I'd have to take it to a Federal Reserve Bank and only get about $4.50 for it.The nearest Fed bank is 90 miles from here,so that wouldn't be very profitable. So,the first of you guys from north of the border that sends me a mailing address will receive, free of charge, one Canadian $5 bill.My email is ph101842@yahoo.com

Mike......I know USDs aren't worth much, but I still wish I had some!!!!!!!!!!!!On that note, the guy that won the $258,000,000 Powerball last week lives about 30 miles from me,so that's as close as I'll ever get to having any money.Just think how many 56 Fords he can buy!!!!!!!!!!

PH: the Canadian $ was at about $1.02 U.S. a couple of days ago & probably headed higher. Never know, you might make a profit in the future.. heh, heh.

Lon: A $7.00 (Canadian) note? There isn't any such bill, so what did you receive?..A check? or ??

I would have thought the fact it was drawn with crayon would have been a tipoff but apparently not!

Frank,

At least we admit we have "Loonies" and the decision to go to the one dollar coin with a Loon on it was the government................. need I say more!!!!!!! Wink

"Camptown racetrace 5 miles long ,  Oh Do- Dah Day  ,"Speaking of "Loonies " ,How many Canadians are a comin' to Columbus this year ????? I'll have to keep an eye on some ( Rob ) of you ??? We don't have no wooden nickles or dimes here in Au ,but I will try and bring some "Brass Razoo's " with me . These are a very rare Australian coins ??? .Maybe I could be talked into selling the Canadians ( Rob ) a few of them .

Lon

PS .Aussie Bill will testify to just how rare these "Brass Razoo's " are .
