I'm a little puzzled... put NORS Granada spindles/discs/calipers on my `57... gettin a notable bind on one side at a single point every 360 degrees rotation... I put a dial indicator on it and get 15 thousandths run-out... but took disc to specialist who says its A-ok... can't be the spindle cuz bind would be constant, right(?)... remounted disc several times and at varied torque, and still get single point bind.

I'll double check the break guy's work and mic the rotor section tonite, but would appreciate any recommendations on what else to check.

Thanks... Brian

Brian,

If the rub is only when you rotate the rotor by hand on the car and you have checked the runout as stated, and the rub isn't binding the rotor while driving it is probably okay. I would "seat" the pads by driving the car and making some hard stops several times to wear in the pads to the rotor. Hope that helps.
