Hi Guys, I recently purchased crown wheel and pinion gears to change my diff ratio from 4.11 to 3.3 in my 55 Fairlane Vic, but the new gears don't fit, can anybody advise what the following gears are from ? crown wheel has number stamped AF-4210-C 33 teeth and pinion has AF-4610-E3 10 teeth,

thanks

Ford lists different carriers for different ratios. Ford calls it a case assembly. It looks like your original carrier is a B6A-4204A and you need B6A-4204B (3.55) or B6A-4204C (3.22).The ring and pinion you bought are listed as B5A-4209A if that helps.

many thanks, that explains it, actually the packaging for the gears has B5A-4209-A written in pencil, I will need to track down the right carrier if I am to use these gears,
