hey guys so i pulled the cap on the crank case filter and it looks dirty any one know were i can find that filter

Cost $7.50
Described as 1955-56 Ford: Filter, crankcase breather, 272-292-312 (includes #6870B gasket)

NAPA lists it as part#fil2841.Online price $5.50.I looked it up as being for 1956 Ford Customline crankcase filter.All the same.You might think about unbolting it and giving it a good clean and make sure the little tube that goes into the block is clear.Returns oil into the pan.
