Hi guys, I've heard about oiling a distributor but a water pump? Would that be hole you can see on top of it.

There is no oil required.That hole is simply a casting hole.

Cast hole, did not know that. I always thought that was a indicator when the seal starts leaking.
Ya learn something new everyday.
