Heard about dyno tests for exhaust manifols yet?

I am debating about putting either ram horn manifolds or short headers from Sanderson on my 60 4x4 272.  Any word about how the dyno tests did on these?  I want to put on ram horns because of clearance issues with the headers.  If the ram horns don't increase any horses I will put the headers on.  Thanks.

It’s simply a time issue right now in getting the engine back on the dyno.  Extensive exhaust testing will be done on the dyno mule engine once the heads that are currently on the engine are changed back out with some more conventionally ported iron heads.  The heads on the engine right now have some incredibly large exhaust ports and as such, are not compatible with many of the exhausts that will be tested, rams horns included.  The brunt of the exhaust tests will be performed on a set of heads that are ‘middle of the road’ ported which would be representative of what many of the home ported heads would look like.  If all goes well, I’d like to see the brunt of the exhaust testing finished up before loading up for the Y-Block Shootout on the Labor Day Weekend.
