Guys,

I entered my 1956 Ford Fairlane in a car show in Elkhorn, NE. About 100 cars showed up, from street rods to Vipars.

My car was entered in the modified class 1955 to 1959. I just installed my "E" code 57 maniforld and dual Edelbrock carbs.

Well long story short "I Won 1st place over a bunch of Chevy's". She's a bored out 312 with a Clay Smith cam and a street attitude!

The car runs great and sounds even better! I sure answered a bunch of questions about my Ford. I think people are tired of seeing nothing but tri-five Chevy's.

ATTABOY JIM!!!  Put those scrubs to shame.  We've known all along the Fords are better than the other guys' stuff.  Congratulations!

Jim:  I think you touched on something; people enjoy seeing something different!

I went to the F100 deal in Knoxville this past weekend and guess what, the old ford tractor display was a big crowd pleaser. There were several interesting vehicles,

a 427 "cammer" in a "57 sedan",a "viper v-10" in a 43/54 F100 junker, and lots

of nice Y's to look at......Keep it up               Bill

Thanks Guy's.

I should use spell check.

I had more guys say my Dad or brother had a Ford 55 or 56 and it really ran great! The car drew more interest than the Chevy's. Again we don't see many at the local shows. A beautiful 56 red T-Bird won the stock class and a made in Mexico 56 Victoria came in second in the same class.

Can't wait for the next show.

Keep on "Y" ing. Many thanks to all the help from the guys on this sight. You all helped with my questions and kept me headed in the right direction.

Now I just need to add my AC unit, cruizer skirts, lakes pipes and.....................................................
