Can one connect the PCV valve to the back of a Blue Thunder intake using the same connection as another vacuum accessory such as a transmission vacuum modulator? Seems I read somewhere that connecting the PCV through the same port as other vac. accessories could cause problems. Thanks for your help. Mike

Mike-Is there not a port or connector  on the carb you are using for the PCV hose?

There is but I need, power brakes,PCV, dist, heater and vac modulator. A total of one more than the number of ports I have including the one in the manifold. Mike

If you have the A intake with the  4b teapot I have a plate that goes under carb that has a vacum hook up that I would sell

He said he had a Blue Thunder intake so he will not be using a teapot carb.

I would run the PVC seperately since it will be pulling vapor from the crankcase. Some carbs have a port for this or some spacers do. The carb should have a port for your dist vac. and the rest can run off a single port from the manifold.

I had mine to the back of the intake, then I realized all my vapors were going to #'s 4 & 8 cylinders most of the time instead of all 8 so I put it under the carb to equalize the distribution. Gary

Thats right Gary!It should be central-either carb or into intake manifold.Otherwise rear cylinders run lean.

Good ideas guys. I will run the PCV to the back of the carb and install a fitting in the back of the manifold where I can hook both the brakes and trans modulator. Never thought about all the vapors going to a couple cylinders but makes sense. Thought the PCV would cause some problems with other vac components but the C.R.S. seems to be getting worse these days Tongue Mike

Don't know if this helps, but I run my PVC from the valley pan to the carb spacer. I run a 2" spacer, drilled and tapped a hole in the back side (3/8" NPT) and the stock PCV valve out of a 64 F100 threads right in there. I just then run a rubber hose to the 90 deg. fitting pushed into the valley pan groumet.
