John:      Have you got the "Storm" back together yet? Columbus is right

      around the corner......        Bill

Bill:

Oh, yes, it's back together.  Got it running about Wednesday of last week.  Changing head gaskets is no big deal when you practice it as much as I have over the last 30+ years.  I once changed a gasket between rounds, took me 45 minutes.  That was a long time ago when I had more energy and strength.  Didn't get to run it last weekend, had to go to a wedding (not mine).  Hope to check it out this weekend, though possible thunderstorms are forecast.

Charlie:     It's crazy, I've been working on it off & on for 3wks and I'm still

not "Ready"...'Course are we ever totally ready?

Lon and Brad are coming by here 29 or 30th and  we're going

over to the "Barber Musuem(sp?)" and look around before heading

         to Columbus. Can't wait.....

Hey, I've got a favor for you and Tony, How 'bout when the Y-Blocks

go to time trials, I'll try and pair up with "Hurricane" and I'd love a pic

of us on the line. Think Ya'll can handle that?

                                     See ya' in Columbus!

One of us should be able to get it. If my truck makes it, I'll be racing, and will not be able to get as many pictures.

Bill:

Assuming I can work up enough nerve to line up next to you, Bob Martin may also be available to take a picture.  Have a safe trip.

Bill:

Got to run yesterday, drove through a rain shower to get to the track, we were delayed about 1 1/2 hours because of light showers, then the fun began.  First run was .03 quicker than the last full run before the gasket let go.  Final run was a 12.07 at 112+.  Unfortunately I was dialed 12.11, so I broke out.  Was pleased with the way it ran though.  I deem it ready for Columbus.
