A friend of mine is going to the USA next week, and he will be in Washington and New York. He asked me if I could dig some auto parts stores at the two cityes where he could buy some parts for his Autolite 2100, like a repair kit and new float.
He's the kind thet loves to compare prices.
Any help will be welcome

Easiest carb in the world to work on and parts are everywhere. I would guess any parts store would have overhaul kit on the shelf. So if he wants to shop around for best price I hope his employeer is paying for the gas.

The parts are for himself. I believe he asked me for "easy to find stores".
Maybe Auto Zone or Napa?
I couldn't answer, since never wento to any of those stores.

The trick will be finding them in Washington and New York. Both Autozone and NAPA should have them. Tell him to look in the phone book when he arrives and give them a call. Around here NAPA has delivery trucks, they may even drop off to his motel/hotel.

I believe Pony Carburetors has kits for the Ford Autolite 2100s. They are in New York state.

Thanks a lot, as always guys. I had forgotten about Pony Carburetors. Told my friend about that, and he will be near their location.
Asked him for a kit for myself, since I have two carbs in use.
