At the bottom of the shift lever shaft down at the steering box there is a lever that the shift rod hooks up to It must be changed to a 56 or 57 and I am not sure what is on a 55. Then the muffler clamp looking part that holds upthe shift tube must be changed to a 56-. And the switch from 58. I know $51.-00 sounds like a lot but Taking it out of park and going to neutral to get it started can be tricky if you are on a hill. Also on my 54 it was disconected completly even more danger...
