I get my gaskets from NAPA. Ebay nearly always has gasket sets but I have no idea what the quality is.

All the gaskets for larger Ys fit. The head gaskets are different, and later steel shim gaskets won't seal a water passage and water leaks into the cylinder. The composition gaskets in the NAPA kit will seal.

The intake gaskets for the 239 are a different part# from the 272-292 gasket sets.According to the NAPA online site the part # for 1954 239 engine is FPGMS9243B priced at about $9.00.I find the NAPA online site very handy for checking part#'s and availability.

Whoa, I took in too much territory when I said "all" the gaskets will fit. Intake gasket, as mentioned above, is for the smaller ports. The 292 gaskets are iffy for sealing the ports.
