I need to shed a few more pounds from the Falcon. Anyone have one of Frank's alum timing covers stuck back that you would be willing to part with?

Glen: noticed you apparently didn't get a reply on the aluminum timing cover. Am wondering how many were cast & sold originally ??

John Mummerts price sheet indicates they'll be available "fall 2010" and Reds Headers are advertising them at $355

I don't know how many Frank made. I have been told that Mummert has Frank's molds and maybe one day will get around to casting up another run. The problem is that John and his son are a two man operation and with the heads, intakes and all the other projects they have, not enough hours in the day plus they have too make a living. We have to support these guys that go out on a limb to make good parts available. I know now that I should have bought from Frank when they were available, I just assumed that they would be around for years to come.

The Red's cover shown in the picture in their online catalog is a Rebop cover. I wonder if they still have some.

No, Red's does not have any, just have not changed catalog.

I made around 200. John has made castings, but the price the foundry wanted was out of sight.
