I bought a set of those 4 or 5 years ago. They're on my 32 roadster with the pass. F code motor. The story they told was that someone (I think the initials were BG) and cast a run of them in the early 60's, and never sold most of them. The guys I bought from were selling resto parts for Aussie fords, and ended up with them. They put two or three sets a year out. Supposedly, I had the first set shipped to the West coast, but who knows. I've seen them on ebay since, but not another set in person. It's amusing to stand quietly and listen to all the comments about what they supposedly are. Kind of like the guy looking a the McCullough and explaining how it's a turbo.
