Was hoping to get a rebuild kit with springs, washers, cotters, etc., but I think that would have sent him into a coma.

Any suggestions on where to source?

Do you already have the rockers off the shafts? The reason I ask is because if you do, you may as well have the assemblies rebuilt with new shafts and re-surfaced rockers. Rocker Arm Specialists http://www.manta.com/c/mmfzywp/rocker-arm-specialist did a set for me and they came out great. They also built a set of roller rockers for me. John Mummert www.fordyblock may also have just the rocker shaft springs and washers or Schumanns Sales, but if you haven't taken them apart already, you will find that they are a pressed fit on the shaft and pretty tough to get apart.

When I took my rocker assemblies apart, the rockers and stands were so tight on the shaft that I had to use an arbor press to get everything apart. Both rocker arm assemblies were like this. Also, measure the height of each of your rocker stands. If they vary more than a few thousands, you may not be able to use them. This was the situation I found myself in when I sent all the parts to Rocker Arm Spercialists. I had to replace the rocker stands too.. The assembled everything for me, so I don't know how tight a fit it was.
