hi everybody all the peeps

spotted this on E-bay i've seen posts refering to this but this is the 1st time i've seen it looks kinda weird!

What looks even more weird are the 312 valve covers on an engine with a two barrel carb. Although the valve covers could just happen to be transplants to this engine, there’s a remote chance there is a 312 sitting under that intake manifold.

That is a good question! I've seen this kind of "Dual" exhaust on more engines than I care to mention, even back in high school I had a buddy with a '60 F-100 that said this was the only way to get dual exhaust on a Y. I don't think he did his home work. Tongue

C code Tbirds came with those valve covers and a 2 V.

That engine is in a truck, so a passenger car left exhaust manifold would not work, the steering box is in the way.

I used to have one a lot stranger than pictured. Rams Horn on PS. Driver side had the same front exiting manifold, but but turned 90 degrees to the outside, going through inner fender, down and back. Fiberglass insulating tape was put on underneath of fender to keep heat buildup during idle from bubbling off paint Hehe

I'm digging the "super trick" oiling system using extra long tubing for that cooling effect also... w00t

Thanks, Master Cylinder. I had envisioned the kit being supplied with plenty of tubing and the installer had no way to shorten it and make it neat. Cooling never entered my thoughts.
