I know 12127 is Ford's number indicating "distributor." According to the catalog for Larry's Thunderbird in California, the part number for a distributor for a 1957 312 is T-12127-C. But I have a guy online who's selling one that he insists is the right one for a '57 TBird Y...part number FEJ 12127 A2.

Which is the right number?

Does anyone have pictures of the correct vacuum + centrifugal distributor off a '57 312?

Someone may, but are you looking for a '57 passenger car distributor or a '57 T-Bird distributor? They are not the same. That is likely the difference between the part numbers.

As cast/stamped on the distributer FEJ 12127 A2 is correct for the 57 Thunderbird single carb engine.

Also as cast/stamped on the distributer FEK 12127 B2 is correct for the 57 Thunderbird single carb engine.

Yes, it's a TBird engine. Dizzy should have the tach drive.
