Bob Lindsay came to the EXPO from Oregon and definitely showed that his Y-Block powered ride really thunders.  With a slower than normal (for him) first pass in the low tens, He then came back to make several passes in the eights and never slowed down.  And his car was deadly consistent.  He knocked me out with a 8.92 pass on a 8.90 dial in and then came back to knock out Jerry Christenson with a 8.89 pass on the same 8.90 dial in where both cars broke out but Jerry broke out the worst.

Great job Bob!!!!!

There's some additional information regarding Bob's ride in the Jul-Aug 2006 issue of Y-BLOCK MAGAZINE.  That would have been issue before last.  Pretty quick indeed and with 3.90 gears.  Maybe if We can get Bob on the site, He can share some more details.

I emailed him a couple of pictures and a note about a week after columbus, but never heard from him. I have a shot of Ted and Bob from the tunnel. I was right behind you guys.

Dennis.  I don't think Bob is very fluent on the computer but I've talked to him on the phone since Columbus.  At his request, I snail mailed him a CD of some of the EXPO pictures I had.

And on a similar note, did you send a copy of your shots to Bob Martin?  He's putting the EXPO shots together for a DVD and it would be great to have a wider diversity of shots, yours included.  This also goes for anyone else that was at the Y shootout at the EXPO and took pictures.

Yes, I sent Bob 27 pictures this week. A lot were similar to what's been posted, but a couple were unique.
