I'm looking at purchasing a dated (B9) rebuilt long block 292 bored .060 over -- is this the max amount of bore for these or does this have an overheat problem built in because of this bore size. thanks Laroy

I routinely use 292 blocks bored .080 over for my supercharged F code drag car without bore or heating problems.

No problem with the .060 over 292. When it approaches .110 over then sonic check.

appreciate the reply's and i'm relieved as it looks like i'll do away with this 239 and try to put little more cubic inches in it's place
