I would like to replace my coil,stock 292Y 4 barrel& headers 57 dist.currently have a coil with an external resistor,are there any available with an internal resister that would work as well,just want an after market replacement,nothing fancy. just a daily driver Thanks RED

Just for clarification, what is this coil being installed in?  Are you using the stock wiring?  Are you replacing the stock Ford "yellow" top coil or ?  Is it broken ?

Yes there are internal resistor coils available. I am using one. Try NAPA or your local parts store.

I installed the Pertronix Flamethrower 40,000 volt coil. It adds a bit of power and the fuel burns cleaner. I got the Epoxy filled as opposed to oil filled. The oil kept leaking out of it. The oil filled are recommended for vertical installation only. Works great with their Ignitor electronic ignition.
