AD4DP-7006-AA is a '74 C-4 and should be case filled (as opposed to a pan filled). Chech to see if it has the 24/26 input shaft. You will need an adaptor from Flat-o http://www.flat-o.com/carproducts/yblock.htm.

The trans will fit by using the flat o matic adapter, I have a case fill in the Falcon, I had to use a Lokar flexable dipstick tube.

I'm using a similar trans (70 model) behind a 312 in a TBird. Used the flat-o adapter. The flat-o adapter kit is very nice, everything fit. Ended up using the stock fill/dipstick tube but had to bend it a little. Also used the 56 kick down rod but had to modify it . I welded a bracket on the bellhousing to hold the tube in position. Lots of room between the engine and the firewall on a bird, not sure about a sedan.

If you have a column shift, make sure the gear selector arm on the trans is down pointing. Since I had a floor shift, the trans should have an up pointing gear selector arm.

Yes, I used the Lokar dipstick. I used the Lokar shifter.
