Does anyone know where I might find some touch up paint in an spray can? I'm looking for the 1961 turquoise, color code B and Spec number M30J-556. I'm going to have to "touch up" my wheel well.

Hi Charlie; want to be careful with the different aerosl cans, don't always know whether it's lac. or enam. If you have any of your original paint, go to Home Depot or local hardware and get an aerosal spray kit, they have a glass jar attached, put you own paint in and touch it up. I've had good luck using them. Hope it helps. God Bless Eddie

NAPA also has the aerosol sprayer that you put your paint in.They work pretty good and cost around $12.

Try a local auto paint supplier. Not long ago I needed a spray can of touch-up paint, so I brought them a small, flat part with the original color I needed (I used the rear license plate bracket). They scanned it, ran it through their computer, and produced a rattle can. Pricey, around $25, but it's a special order can, so you've got to expect that.
One thing to watch for, I failed to consider that the part I used to scan is protected from fading in the sun by the license plate, so the color was a hair off from the area where I wanted to use it, but it was close.

I found this place online. They sell aerosols, as well as the regular can. The aerosols are base-coat clear coat. They aren't offered as a single stage. They may be able to make a single stage aerosol. I didn't ask. We're just going to get a pint of single stage at the local Auto Color store. No need to do base/clear for this job. The wheel well is already going to be the best looking part of the body. Automotive Touchup
