I'm working on a 1959 Ford Wagon, 292 fordomatic. The cross member on the wagon was cut off a foot from the center on both sides and welded back using 1/4" plate underneath and the rest tac welded. It has bowed. The ends on the frame are also welded completely around. The previous owner must have had plenty of rods. I would like to replace it. Anyone have suggestions on after market cross members or where I can get an OEM? Thanks

It appears like the rust gremlins got to it. I would rather doubt if you find aftermarket. You may find a parts car with a solid member. Another option would be make one. Find a shop that knows their way around working with tubular stock, like one that builds roll cages for race cars. Good luck with it.
