Fresh engine.

Recreation of the original Ford 260 H.P. cam ,zero deck ,balanced, "H" heads for a short break in period of time then the switch to John"s heads, FPA headers, 56 Ford style manifod with dual teapots, wide box T-10.

Still have to do the rear but its all in the works. It sounded magical Cool

Great way to start the New Year.

That sounds a lot like mine. Curious to see how it runs.

I m so disappointed, that I wasn't there to hear it.  If it sounds half as good as it looked Thursday afternoon, I am jealous.

Yea, we'd all like to hear it. How about posting a video of it running. Which heads are you running? I don't remember "H"?

Congrats anyway!

Way to go Mics! Alan, H are similar to C heads used on 56  Hi po setups.

Lets hear it!

Oldmics:

Is the dual four kit the N.O.S. one you bought off epay, or is it another kit you already had?  I personally would hate to see the probably ONLY nos one in the world become just a used 2-4 setup.

Hoosier

Not to worry about the original B6A-9000 kit.

That kit is safely inside a pair of custom built see thru display boxs.

The wooden crate that the "kits" parts came in are in one see thru display box and the actual parts that were contained inside the wooden shipping crate are in a second clear see thru display box.

The 56 setup on the fresh engine is one setup from the stash that I have.

The cam in the new engine is an exact recreation from analysis of the camshaft in the kit. That clone cam was ground by Dema Elgin. It is to the exact patterns supplied from Cam Dr analysis and additional information obtained from some higher sources.

As far as offering a video of the engine-I"m just not up on the video posting technology. I"ll just have to say I would rather work on them than film em.Perhaps in the future. Hehe
