You will probably get different opinions on this topic, but in my opinion, these intakes were made for the track and are a hassle to set-up for the street. Back in the day, Edlebrock, Fenton and Weiand all had these 6 duce set-ups. I've heard them called "Log" manifolds. I myself had a Edlebrock (#652) with 6 Holley 94's, but sold the set-up in favor of a dual quad set-up. You will notice that none of the 6 duce set-ups have a thermostat housing, so that is one thing you need to incorporate for street use. For track use, I believe these manifolds were set-up with non-progressive linkage where all carbs opened at once. That's what my set-up came with when I bought it. For the street, you would probably need to come up with a progressive linkage set-up with different jetting for the primary and secondary carbs. I was planning on running only the outer 4 carbs and blocking off the center two carbs. This would give me the "wow" factor of the 6 duces, but the simplicity of running only 4 carbs with straight through non-progressive linkage. In the end, I dumped the whole idea for a dual quad set-up for performance and reliability. I have no regrets.
