Gentlemen

It seems that there are times when the clutch adjustment rod needs to be longer than what it was originally manufactured as.

This is due to differences in throwout bearing lengths.

I had to purchase a full bag of the coupling adaptors to lengthen the clutch adjustment rod for my needs.

I thought I would offer these to the fellow Forum members since I wont ever use all that I had to purchase.

Not really that unusual an item-its just a 3/8 fine thread coupling nut BUT try to find them w00t Pretty much impossible!

$10.00 a piece,$15.00 for two and that includes shipping in the continental U.S.A.

Make sure your bellhousing and transmission bolts are tight. I've seen this happen with both loose.

Pressure plates can also cause a problem if it is thinner than stock.

Not going to make a comment about "Old Nuts".  I want to, but I won't.

It is too good an opportunity not to comment. How many of us old fellas are going to get rich selling our nuts?

I think they have pills you can take to deal with lengthening your rod and worn out nuts.BigGrin
