I still don't believe I just saw what I saw! Just watched a show called Muscle Car on speed channel. This was a dyno shoutout amoung five 60's musle car engines. These were stock spec restored factory equiped engines. Listed below is the results.

Engine             Dyno results                                                                             

62 Chevy 409     406 hp                                                                                    

63 Ford  427      637 hp                                                                                    

63 Pont  421      488 hp                                                                                       

66 Hemi 426       820 hp                                                                                   

67 Chevy 427     527 hp

While the Hemi was the overall winner, look at what came in second, a stock 63 Ford 427 was 110 hp better that the 67 scrub that everbody raves about.

just goes to prove  that fords rule & scrubs are cheap rubbish & would make good door stops
