This topic is old....but....a friend is partner in a salvage yard, he wants me to buy something, sooooo, I'm wondering what later model power brake booster would be a good bolt up to my 55 Vickey, it's got Granada discs in the front, Wilwood proportioning valve and so far, stock dual exhaust. I've just switched over to a standard tranny with floor shift, so I'm not seeing much of a problem with room for the booster. Any ideas would help, I've researched a bit, but I'm not getting anything. Thanx, Gary

Depending on how far out the master ends up with a booster you could be close to the exhaust manifold. The kit I used from Irish Dave tilts the booster master upwards so more clearance from exhaust manifold. You would have to change the master as well which comes with the booster.

I have to recommend Dave as well.
When my booster and master cylinder arrived in Australia the brackets were incorrect.
Dave wasted no time in sending me the correct set and apologised for the stuffup.

Gary, you are looking for something specific from the salvage yard right? I thought the late 70s Lincolns may be what you need, but I have not done the swap myself. Maybe someone else can chime in like "junkyard dog" lol.
