Hey Bill, I'm still kicking! Just have not been able to get on the site in several weeks. It seems to be working this morning. We have had a rough year, my wife's mother passed, my 85 yr old mother has been have some health issues, so I have had to spend a lot of time with her. We had a unexpected $16000 dental bill for my wife and I had a $3000 repair bill on my truck, ouch! So not alot of time or money for my toys, maybe next year will be better.

Sorry to hear about your problems Glenn. Its not easy when the parents get to that age group and require us to return some of the love they gave us growing up. But that is how life is. I've lost all of my family and inlaws in the last 10 years or so. That can really serve as a wake up call.
It also sounds like the money gods are not in your favor. Health is more important than cars (but just barely). Hope to see you soon. Chuck

Thinks Guys, not much of a whiner, I figure there is a plan for what ever life throughs at you. On a bright note, my mother is doing much better and for a 85 year old she is amazing. Also we are planning on taking the Falcon to Merdian MS the 19/20 Oct for a gasser and FE meet. I still have plans to work on the 57 custom this winter and Good Lord willing will have it running next year. I talked to James Potter yesterday and he has a running 292 in his 57 custom, maybe we can make the pull to Columbus next year together. Thanks to Jim, the site seems to be working much better the last couple of weeks.

Glad to hear your'e doing OK Glen! Sorry to hear about your mom and mother-in-law. Those bills must be tough too....that's a LARGE dental bill....holy cow! Hang in there brother! We're thinking about you!

Thanks Brad, you don't know the half of it! The orginal estimate for her dental work was 44k, I almost had a heart attack when she told me that. I told her that even if I could borrow 44k, I wouldn't live long enough to pay it back. I have to admit that she has a nice smile now and like a wise man once said, too keep them happy is cheap at any price.

Southern Gassers and FE meet. 
They are also having a show and swap meet, I have never been to this track but I hear that it is a pretty nice old school drag strip.
