I have a dual master cylinder for disc/drum with combination valve with drum/drum brakes. The pedal has brakes and will stop the car but will only go about half way down and then stops like there is no travel left. If I release a rear bleeder valve the brake pedal will go to the floor. It stops half way down when a front bleeder is opened. I am still planning a change to disc fronts this winter so will keep the master. The only other thing that is wrong is the front brakes are plumbed to the front, or smaller, part of the master cylinder. Any help? Chuck

Chuck, I had the same problem before Columbus when I replaced my master cylinder. When I installed the new one the rod was too long when it meet the fire wall and I just bolted it up. I ended up cutting a 1/2 inch off the rod and things worked right.
