I drove my 55 to Daytona for the Turkey run and the 351 that is in it is making a valve train noise and is getting worse,I am planning on going back to a Y block but dont have all the parts yet but I need to keep my car running for a couple more years. The 351 was built by a questionable builder and I am afraid I will open a can of worms and make the car not drivable this coming summer if it will be more then what I am expecting once I get it apart. I would love to find a 292 that is good enough to drop in without rebuilding but I dont want another problem and want to build it myself so I might try to find another 351 to slap in and keep it going,I got all winter to figure out what I want to do but will have a make a decision.
